Different events, different countries, both to a degree affected Australia. The 21st anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, and we remember all the innocent lives lost. The people who went to work that day and never returned home. That, and Queen Elizabeth II, the monarch who reigned over the British Empire for 70 years, died aged 96.
